Thyroid Disorder and Ayurved

 Thyroid  disorder and Ayurved

People asked when they came to ayurvedic clinic that whether we stop alopathy medicine or not?

Or our diabetes or Thyroid problem will resolved permanently?

Or this PCOD cured ?

And many such questions in head box asking and want an answer from Ayurveda.

First of all ..why do you compare with modern medicine and ayurvedic medicine.

They have their own diagnostic methods and Ayurved has their own diagnostic methods

They decide their medicine on their diagnostic methods like blood reports or xray usg mri and many..

Ayurved has their own diagnostic method ..like asthvidha parikshan trividh parikshan and many ..and on that basis Ayurved practitioner decide which medicine to give.

So first question:

If a patient taking modern medicine for Blood pressure or diabetes or thyroid or hormonal disorder then

As Satymata to shariram one can not stop any medicine on immediate base.

Patient getting used of it with body and mind.

Any Satyma can not stop immediate based.

How ayurvedic diagnostic goes? it's on asth vista parikshana..

Means

Nadi

Mal

Mutra

Jivha

Shabd

Sparsh

Druk

Aakruti

And agni

Kostha

Prakruti

Bal

Sarata

And many other factor has to examine .

Then dosh

Dhatu

Mal

Man

Awastha confirmation

Then

Dravya selection on the basis of above factors

Many times Hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism or hyperglycemia

Hypoglycemia

Or PCOD

Pancreatitis or any inflammation disorders like so many disease are not written in Ayurvedic literature

Because its written in ayurvedic language literature so we need to treat according above examination factors.

So if we talk about Thyroid gland.

Thyroid gland function has Three Dosha function

But when we study Hypothyroidism then we find correlation between Vat and kapha dosha vrudhi similarities

And when we study about Hyperthyroidism then we correlate sympotoms with Vat and pitta dosha vrudhi sympotoms

And what we found in astha vidh parikshan in Hypothyroidism

Is that ..

Agnimandya

Samata leads to dhatwagni mandyata.

So we need to treat agni along with Affected dhatu like ras Mansa, medha Dhatu along with as older ..Asthi Majja dhatu.

In Dosha as we told that kapha dosha vrudhi sympotoms increases so Kapha dosha and Agnimandya leads Disease are written in ayurvedic literature that what we want to study..and for quick result we need to follow basics of principal of ayurvedic treatment is Dincharya and Hrutucharya.

Dipan Pachana anuloman Shodhana and Rasyana

Because Ayurveda works on apunarbhav chikitsa means disease cant not be recure again

So if patient want ayurvedic treatment and already taking tablets for hormonal disorders then we can not stop..Regarding this also acharya had said in Vish chikitsa(toxin) that has to be continue in tapping dose for several month till patient agni get proper.

As patients agni get proper then we can stop but it what means that ayurvedic should also continue for long time ..?

Why the patient need ayurvedic medicine if patient agni is proper and patient following his diet and vyayam according to his prakruti then there no need of ayurvedic medicine also.

It just if railway going on proper track with following rules and regulation then not worry but if patient not following rules and regulation then he might need  ayurvedic medicine and some servicing also like panchkarma.

So my dear ayurvedic friend ..Thyroid disorder like Hypothyroidism it just a Dhatwagni mandyata and Hyperthyroidism is like Increse Dhatwagni with pitta dosh vrudhi.

So if you want to treat by ayurvedic methods then make diagnosis by ayurvedic methods

your diagnosis might be Gulm or shoth or jwar...or anything according to patient symptoms. .please be stick to it and treat the patient.

if a patient is newly diagnosed with thyroid disorder then according to patient symptoms  you can stop other pathy medicine and start yours .

but patient should approach ayurvedic method at first rather later but now  days  patient approach incresed and they getting good result

Thank you
